Starting in the $300,000s, lofts in the historic 1921 building on Seventh and Grand will go on sale by the end of April. Adapted by the West Millennium Group, this project is in the center of Downtown with easy access to it all. To keep residents happy and well nourished, the 10,000-sq.ft. Louie Restaurant and Gourmet Market will open later this year on the building's ground floor. This elegant market in conjunction with several restaurants slated for release along Seventh Street will contribute to a revived Downtown dining experience.
Evo. (South Park)
Starting in the $500,000s, this $160 million 23-story condo project located on 12th and Grand will be on sale this spring. Expected to draw more affluent buyers to South Park, It is part of a modern collection of environmentally conscious projects from developer South Group. The other two properties, Elleven and Luma, sold out quickly in 2006, so it is no surprise that Evo sales is projected to be quite eventful. These 311 residences is the first of many upscale projects expected to call South Park home. Others on the way include the Ritz Carlton at LA Live.
Rowan and El Dorado Lofts. (Historic Core)
Prices are expected to start in the $500,000s. These historic lofts were home to celebrities and movie stars of the 1920s and beyond. Their legacy has been transmored into residences for fans of period buildings. Half of the Rowan lofts at Fifth and Spring are already under contract with the rest going on sale in March. Together with the El Dorado Lofts next door, these projects will re-energize the Historic Core. These buildings are precursors for better things to come: Later in the fall, a nearby 300 ft. luxury hotel and condo tower will anchor more residential energy at the Rowan and El Dorado lofts.
