LAUSDProgress on LAUSD's High School Visual and Performing Arts Central High School for the Visual and Performing Arts

Scheduled to open for the 2009 school year, this will be LA's first school dedicated to the performing arts. It looks like LA is taking its cultural revival very seriously.

Anybody remember that TV show "Fame"? I guess this is our West Coast version.

hate to say it, but all that money spent on such an ugly looking building? It looks like a post-modern toy factory! I wish it looked a bit more "classic"

I certainly hope the inside looks more attractive
